A Knoxville, Tennessee native, Jake Harrison Miller is a photographer and writer who uses the two mediums to explore the depths of his surroundings. Using this regionalist approach, he is able to hold a mirror to the environment around himself as a way to reflect upon his own personal narrative. So far in 2018, he has traveled 11,000 miles across the United States and to England. In this way, he continues to expand his vocabulary and apply his perspective in hopes to further understand himself and society, his approach drawing on the inherent poetry of existence and the fragmentation of memory and consciousness.
